Educational/Public Programs

We invite you to visit the museum.  Guests will find that our regular tours include special displays that change seasonally in exhibit rooms throughout the museum campus. Groups of ten or more should call ahead to schedule a visit.

Parents, grandparents, and caregivers bringing young children to the garden have a choice of activities including “Garden Story Baskets” and “Scavenger Hunts.” Story Baskets include a selection of books describing the creatures and other wonders of the garden. Puppets let children act out the stories while reading in a tranquil garden setting. Scavenger hunt cards feature photos and trivia about items located throughout the gardens. We challenge you to find them all!
