In addition to our many permanent exhibits, the Biedenharn also hosts a variety of events throughout the year. From concerts and lectures to moonlight exhibitions and children’s activities, there is always a reason to check our calendar when planning your trip to Monroe.

December 6, 7, & 8 from 5-8pm, Each year, the Monroe Garden Study League provides hundreds of hours decorating the historic Biedenharn Home. Thursday, December 13 at 6pm, Biedenharn Museum Executive Director, Ralph Calhoun, will discuss 12 interesting Christmas Plants, their history, and how to grow and care for them.
