Join us in the Fountain Room of the Biedenharn Family Home for an evening of musical artistry and storytelling from the renowned Michael Kelly Blanchard. This concert is part of an effort to curate events that serve the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens mission and Emy-Lou's vision for small, intimate art and music events hosted within the family home.
From the desk of Ken Fletcher:
"From Unionville, CT and Berklee School of Music, I met Michael Kelly Blanchard in 1995, while searching for national talent to fill our North LA Family Concert series. Nashville introduced me to "Daddy Cut my Hair", gaining national radio accolades. That began my 3 decade "love affair" with his “musical stories”. He has written hundreds of “story songs” since then. The gift of art – music, poetry, painting – cannot be evaluated by concert or gallery attendance. Artistic tier-1 troubadours like Michael often enjoy the intimacy of house concerts and small venues over concert halls. His CDs and books have never been able to capture the magic you will see and feel when you get Up-Close with Michael in concert."
